Entrepreneur and cultural ambassador, Hamamat Montia, popularly known as the “Shea Butter Queen,” is set to be celebrated for her remarkable contribution to elevating shea butter and projecting Ghana’s rich cultural heritage on the global stage.
The recognition event, is set to be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the premises of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Arts.
The event will be celebrated to bring together key stakeholders in the creative and cultural industries and will be graced by the Honourable Minister, Abla Dzifa Gomashie.
The occasion highlights Hamamat Montia’s impact in promoting Made-in-Ghana products, particularly shea butter, as a symbol of heritage, empowerment, and excellence.
Sharing the news on social media, Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey popularly known as Abeiku Santana, described the celebration as a moment of honouring “impact, heritage, and Made-in-Ghana excellence”.
He applauded Hamamat Montia’s consistency and dedication to uplifting local products and Ghanaian identity.
