Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has denied allegations of campaigning in Ayawaso East, describing a viral video as “deliberately taken out of context”.
The video, which has sparked controversy, was said to be from an engagement during the Ablekuma North Elections and has been “selectively clipped and edited” to distort facts.
Madam Ocloo explained that she attended the Ayawaso East election grounds in her official capacity as Head of Regional Security, to observe proceedings and maintain peace, wearing funeral attire (black).
She refuted claims of distributing items to the former constituency chairman, calling the allegations “entirely false and malicious”.
Madam Ocloo condemned the manipulation of media content for political gain, urging the public to disregard the misleading clips and rely on credible sources.
