Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Acting Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has arrived in South Africa on Sunday, February 8, 2026, to attend an edition of Africa’s largest mining investment and policy forum.
The forum dubbed ‘African Mining Indaba 2026 bring together governments, global mining companies, investors to attract capital, shape policy, and set the agenda for responsible and sustainable mineral development across Africa.
In a statement, the Ministry indicated that Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah will take part in high-level engagements on challenges facing the mining industry.
“Leading Ghana’s delegation, Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah will participate in a series of high-level dialogues and strategic engagements, while contributing to broader discussions on key challenges confronting the mining industry,” the statement noted.

According to the statement, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah will headline the highly-anticipated ‘Ghana Day event’, slated for Wednesday, February, 11, 2026.
As part of the engagement, Ghana, as a leading gold producer, will showcase its potential to investors and deepen interest in its extractive sector.
