Gospel musician Abena Serwaa Ophelia has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, describing the loss as heartbreaking.
Speaking about the sad news on Y’adwumanie on Angel FM, Abena Serwaa Ophelia admitted that it was difficult for her to hold back tears.
“It wasn’t easy when I heard the news that Nana Konadu has passed. I didn’t want to cry because she’s someone who has really helped me in life,” she said.
The gospel singer noted that she considers it a great privilege to have received recognition and support from the late Nana Konadu, adding that it was by God’s grace and favour that their paths crossed.
She also extended her condolences to the bereaved family.
“My regards to the children,” she added.
Abena Serwaa Ophelia further expressed gratitude to Selassie Ibrahim, whom she credited for introducing her to the late Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
