The Office of the Ga Mantse has disclosed that His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has been treated and discharged following medical checks after an accident in the Oti Region.
In a statement dated 19th February 2026, the Palace confirmed that the King and others involved were evacuated to Accra, where they underwent thorough medical examinations.
According to the statement, they were discharged in avery stable condition and are making good recovery under continuous medical monitoring.
“The King and all those involved are making good recovery according to continuous medical monitoring,” the statement said, signed by Chief of Protocol and Communications, Amb. (Sir) S.J.K. Parker-Allotey (KSG).
The Ga Mantse expressed gratitude to the evacuation team, his aides, and well-wishers who offered prayers and support.
The statement further indicated that all those involved are expected to resume normal duties very soon.
