The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has confirmed that the microlight aircraft which crashed in Tema on Monday, March 16, 2026, was enroute from Ho to Accra.
The accident aircraft, with registration number 9GADV, was expected to arrive in Accra at 1520 Z. However, its last radio contact was recorded at 1418 Z.
The Authority indicated that two persons were on board at the time of the incident but did not confirm any casualties or fatalities.
It assured that further details will be provided in due course.
