Ghana have been drawn alongside hosts Senegal, Mozambique and Uganda in Group A of the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The Black Sharks find themselves in a challenging group featuring record holders and defending champions Senegal, fast-rising Mozambique and an enterprising Uganda side.
Ghana will open their Group A campaign against hosts Senegal, the most successful team in the competition’s history with seven titles.
The Black Sharks will then face Mozambique, who have emerged as one of Africa’s fastest-rising beach soccer nations, before concluding their group-stage campaign against Uganda.
Senegal will host the tournament as defending champions.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the winners progressing to the final and securing qualification for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The Black Sharks last participated in the competition in 2024 and will be aiming to make a strong impression on their return to the continental stage.
