Parts of Kasoa and Accra were flooded after a heavy downpour on Friday morning which lasted for about an hour.
Places such as Odawna, Sahara as well as parts of the Central Business District were all affected by the floods.
Kasoa Tollbooth, SCC, Kasoa Old Barrier, Ataala and Apraku were equally affected.
According to Angel News Central Regional Correspondent, Opanyin Darko, commuters were trapped because of the floods.
He reported that the fast flow of run-off water has made it difficult for vehicles to move thus, drivers and passengers were left stranded.
A social media user also tweeted that “this is the current situation on the Kasoa-Accra highway every car is parked because of the flood. If we don’t stop dumping indiscriminately we will be experiencing Flood more than this.”
