The Ghana Education Service (GES) has stated that the Computerised School Placement process is free, urging parents and guardians not to make any form of payment to secure a place.
A public notice from the GES on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, emphasized that securing a place in any Senior High Schools and Technical Vocational Training Schools is “absolutely free.”
“Please, do not pay money to anyone, whether a ministry official or a third party for this service,” the Service stated as the Computerised School Placement commences.
According to the GES, the placement process will run throughout the month of September and encouraged the public to report anyone who demands money.
“If you encounter a person asking for money, report them immediately to the Ghana Police Service, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).”
