The Executive Director of Weinglo Family International, Gloria Boatemaa Andoh, along with her team and dedicated volunteers, have spread holiday cheer at the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital in Cape Coast.
The gesture forms part of their 7th Annual Christmas Feeding Outreach.
The outreach, which coincided with the hospital’s 60th Anniversary, reached 300 beneficiaries, including patients, nurses, and volunteers across several wards and rehabilitation centres.

The team visited Sangmuah, Foster, Simew, Nightingale, and Aggrey Wards, as well as the 12-Steps Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre, sharing food, love, and hope with those in need.

The organization reminded the patients that they are valued and remembered, especially during the Christmas season.
During the visit, the team met with key hospital officials, including Mr. Bismark Tuffour (Chief Nursing Officer In-charge), Ms. Euphemia Dourinaa (Head of Audit), and Mr. Francis Adjei Ayim (Principal Nursing Officer).
Having sustained this initiative for seven consecutive years, Weinglo Family International continues to promote compassion, reduce stigma around mental health, and restore hope.

The organization further expressed heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, partners, team members, and volunteers whose generous support made the outreach a success.
Hospital management also praised the team’s efforts, calling their journey from Accra to Cape Coast a “strong demonstration of genuine care and commitment.”
