Former vice-presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has expressed firm conviction to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s success in the ongoing NPP internal primaries election.
Speaking to the media after participating in the voting process Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh expressed satisfaction with the calm and orderly atmosphere at the polling station declaring that “may his best candidate win and I do certainly know that is it my candidate.”
He highlighted the party’s commitment to elections, expressing with confidence that, upon the completion of the internal election, peace and unity will be maintained.
He also commended the police for their presence in maintaining law and order at the polling station.
