Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame Constituency and member of Dr. Bawumia campaign team, says he will not single out any candidate but affirms that the delegates’ choice should be the legitimate leader of the party.
“One person is going to be the leader at the end of the day, I’m done with my campaign so I won’t mentioned any candidate name as the winner,” he said
Speaking to the media after casting his vote in the party’s ongoing presidential primaries on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu noted that the process had been smooth so far, adding that “he had not witnessed any form of violence at the polling station.”
He expressed confidence that the peace would be maintained throughout the exercise.
He also urged voters to report any incidents to the security personnel to help maintain law and order, stressing that no one should take the law into their own hands.
