A communications member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chris Arthur Esq., has urged the government to complete hospital projects started by the NPP administration before it left office.
Speaking on Anopa Bofoo on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, he indicated that several hospital projects initiated by the NPP remain uncompleted and locked.
“We plead with the president to continue from where the juncture the previous government reached; he shouldn’t say they started it, so they want to start their own thing and give it a different name,” he said.
He called on the New Democratic Congress (NDC) administration to prioritise healthcare and refrain from politicising unfinished projects.
“In Gomoa Afranse, hospitals have been built to almost 80% completion by the NPP government; in other places, up to 90% completion, with machines already installed but left locked by the government,” he alleged.
He advised the government to build on the NPP’s initial projects and identify the remaining steps needed to equip and operationalise the hospitals.
