The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has questioned the Member of Parliament for Suame, John Darko Esq., over his alleged role in a financial loss to SIC Savings and Loans Company Limited estimated at approximately GH¢27 million.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, EOCO said it is currently conducting investigations into an alleged criminal conspiracy which has resulted in a revised financial loss to the company.
“As part of the ongoing investigations, the Office invited the Honourable Member of Parliament for Suame, Hon. John Darko, to assist investigators with information relevant to the matter,” the statement said.
