Minister and preacher of the Gospel, Agyeman Duncan-Williams has stated tha the true wealth of a leader is measured not by his personal possessions, but by the wellbeing of the people he leads.
Speaking on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ on Friday, November 6, 2026, Duncan-Williams said a leader who enjoys luxury while his followers live in poverty does not demonstrate true riches.
“If you see any King and his citizens and you want to know how rich the King is, look at his citizens.
“If the King is rich, it will reflect in the citizens. However, if the citizens are poor and only the King is living in a mansion, then it means the King has a poverty mentality,” he said.
The preacher said leadership carries the responsibility of lifting others, and that genuine prosperity must be evident in the lives of those under a leader’s care.
He added that a leader’s success should reflect in the progress, dignity and wellbeing of his people, rather than in his personal comfort alone.
