Two female traders have been hospitalized after a wall collapsed on them at the Suame Roundabout in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, September 9, 2025, when a vehicle reportedly crashed into the wall belonging to the Ghana Water Company Limited.
According to Angel News’ Bismark Mensah, the vehicle was transporting construction materials for the ongoing Suame Interchange project.
The impact of the crash caused the wall to collapse, leaving the two traders who were operating close to the roadside seriously injured.
Mr. Mensah reported that both victims were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where they are currently receiving treatment.
He added that one of the victims, an onion seller, sustained a severe leg injury and could have his leg amputated.
