A tragic motor accident has claimed the life of a man believed to be a Cocoa Purchasing Clerk at Assin Aponsie in the Assin North District of the Central Region.
The incident occurred on Sunday, December 21, 2025, around 8:00 PM.
The deceased, identified as Philip Kofi Nsiah, reportedly lost control of his red jungle motorbike and crashed into a pavement at the Assin Aponsie parking lot.
According to Angel News’ Kwame Asante Owusu Shadrack, Mr. Nsiah was traveling from the Kumasi direction toward Assin Fosu at the time of the accident.
His body was later discovered near the crash site by passersby, who believe the accident may have occurred shortly before the discovery.
The Assin Praso District Police Command has since conveyed the body to the mortuary for preservation and further investigation.
Until his death, Mr. Nsiah, resided at Assin Dompim, and worked as a cocoa Purchasing Clerk with Cargill Ghana at Assin Adiembra.
However, his exact destination at the time of the crash remains unknown.
