Wendy Shay, has expressed strong confidence in clinching the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
Taking to her social media page on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the RuffTown Records signee boldly stated that she believes the award already belongs to her, citing the immense support she has received from fans, industry players, and fellow artistes.
According to Wendy Shay, the love and endorsement from her fanbase, known as ShayGang, as well as media personalities and colleagues in the music industry, have positioned her as the clear favourite for the topmost award on the night.
“I know everyone is aware this year’s TGMA Artiste of the Year is me. Thanks to Ghana, ShayGang, media personalities and to all the artistes showing me love and advocating for me to win,” she wrote.
The “Survivor” hitmaker further extended a call to action, urging not only her fans but also supporters of other major Ghanaian music camps to rally behind her. She appealed to fanbases including SM (Shatta Movement), Bhim Nation, Sark Nation, BYK, and the Blacko Tribe to vote massively in her favour.
