President John Dramani Mahama has appointed an eight-member committee to organise the National Education Forum, fulfilling his pledge to the Ghanaian people of transforming the sector.

The committee, chaired by former Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Professor George K. T. Oduro, has two weeks to submit its report and plan.

The other members are Professor Goski Alabi, Professor Rosemary Bosu, Samuel Awuku, Ph.D, and Professor Smile Dzisi. The rest are Kofi Asare, Stephen Owusu, and Inusah Shiraz.

The Planning Committee’s Terms of Reference (TOR) highlights developing a guiding theme, identifying stakeholders across the education sector including student, parents and teachers, and proposing an agenda with time allocations.
