Member of Parliament for the Atiwa East Constituency in the Eastern Region, Abena Osei Asare, has commissioned and handed over a Doctors’ Bungalow to the Enyiresi Government Hospital.
The facility, a two-storey building commissioned on Friday, December 19, 2025, was personally funded by the lawmaker.

Madam Osei Asare acknowledged the project as part of her personal social responsibility to give back to her constituents for the confidence and trust they have reposed in her as MP.

She described the gesture of handing over the facility as the “greatest honour.”

She urged management of the hospital to practice a maintenance culture to enable it to serve its intended purpose.
“I believe that one of the ways to improve healthcare outcomes is by ensuring decent accommodation for our hardworking medical professionals, so they can serve our people with comfort and dedication,” stated Madam Osei Asare.

The MP reiterated her unwavering commitment to her social responsibilities to the people of Atiwa East in all sectors, aimed at bettering their standards of living.
“I will continue to invest in critical infrastructure that strengthens our health system and improves the well-being of our constituents.”

The commissioning ceremony was graced by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Ernest Owusu Ntim, the Enyiresi Queenmother, the Acting District Health Director, the Medical Superintendent, staff of the hospital, and members of the community.
