Ghanaian gospel musician, Efua Black, has revealed that her journey into music began with a prophecy delivered more than a decade ago.
Speaking on Angel Drive on Angel FM, the singer said she does not take prophecies lightly, stressing that even if they do not manifest immediately, they eventually come to pass.
“Everything about me has been by prophecy, so I don’t joke with prophecies. When it came, I went into prayer mode, preparation mode and learning mode. Five years later, God saw that I was ready, so I started manifesting,” she shared.
Efua Black recounted that eleven years ago, she received a prophecy about her calling into gospel music. According to her, the manifestation of that prophecy began during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s just by prophecy. Five years later, during COVID, the Lord started dropping songs. During the lockdown, I was receiving songs from God. After the lockdown, I entered the studio and recorded my first single, ‘Oy3 Jesus,’ and by God’s grace, we’ve come this far,” she stated.
The gospel musician also disclosed that before venturing into music, she was involved in car rentals and other small businesses.
