The Electricity Company of Ghana (E.C.G) has announced power outages, popularly known as ‘dumsor’, affecting parts of the Greater Accra Region due to technical faults.

In a statement on Monday, February 23, 2026, ECG explained that the interruption in electricity supply in some communities is a result of faults on the 11kV and 11kV B28 feeders in the region.

According to the company, the affected areas include Pentecost Junction, Borkorborkor, Manhean Township, Bajorhe, Afuaman, Mamprobi, Chorkor, Chemuanaa, Hidden Glade Apartment, Mamprobi Police Station, and surrounding areas.

ECG further announced that emergency maintenance work will also result in temporary power cuts in areas such as Otsebreku, Okushibri, Jerusalem, Apollonia, Katamanso, Promised Land, Elegant Homes, Data Centre, and nearby areas.

The power distributor assured affected customers that engineers are working to resolve the inconvenience.
