New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman hopeful, Awentami Paul Afoko has donated 400 bags of cement and GHS 30,000 to support the construction of an ultramodern NPP Northern Regional office.

The donation came after regional executives made a direct appeal during a consultative meeting in Tamale, stressing that a proper party office is key to winning back the region.

The planned multipurpose facility is meant to tighten party structures and supercharge operations across the Northern Region ahead of 2028.

Presenting the donation on Afoko’s behalf, Dr. Akisibadek Alekz Afoko did not mince words. He urged NPP supporters to unite behind Afoko’s bid for national chairman, saying his leadership is the path to “reclaim power from the NDC in 2028.

”Afoko, who led the NPP as National Chairman from 2014-2015, is running on a “3R” blueprint: Reunite, Rebuild, Recapture.

Northern Regional 2nd Vice Chairman Alhaji Abdul Rahman Sualihu Mahama, receiving the donation for Regional Chairman Mohammed Adam Baantima Samba, called it “timely support.”

He said the funds will push the office project over the finish line and urged Afoko to keep backing the party’s 2028 comeback mission.
