Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2026 Ghana Movie Awards after securing three awards, including the prestigious Best Actor in a Leading Role.
He also earned the coveted accolade for his outstanding performance in the movie Captain Traore, further cementing his reputation as one of Ghana’s most versatile actors and filmmakers.
The celebrated actor took to social media to express his appreciation to the organizers of the awards scheme for their efforts in reviving and promoting Ghana’s film industry.
“Actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win and management extend heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the Ghana Movie Awards 2026. Your vision to revive Ghana’s movie industry and unite all stakeholders is deeply appreciated. Honored to have won Best Actor in a Leading Role plus two other awards.
