The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has officially confirmed Raymond Archer as the substantive Executive Director of the institution.
The appointment, announced in an official Facebook notice, takes effect immediately following his confirmation on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
“Mr. Raymond Archer confirmed as the substantive Executive Director of EOCO,” the Office said in the post.
Mr Archer, a former investigative journalist, had been serving as Acting Executive Director since August 2025, when he replaced the former EOCO boss, Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah ESQ,.
His confirmation brings an end to his acting tenure and officially establishes him as the substantive head of the institution.
This follows his work and contributions since taking over the leadership of the Office.
