Nigerian streamer, Carter Efe, has described Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale as his “helper” after receiving a cash gift from the musician during a livestream.
The moment, which featured Ghanaian content creator MadeInGhana, saw Shatta Wale refer to Carter Efe as his brother. However, the streamer jokingly rejected the description, saying, “Never! You can never be my brother; you’re my helper.”
Shatta Wale subsequently brought out some dollar notes and handed them to him, prompting Carter Efe to kneel, remove his clothes and repeatedly thank the musician as a form of appreciation.
The gesture comes amid growing criticism of the Nigerian streamer following his recent comments about dancehall artiste Stonebwoy during a separate livestream with Made in Ghana.
Also, Carter Efe sparked backlash after favouring a comparison with Stonebwoy over Shatta Wale.
He also alleged that MadeInGhana had privately made negative remarks about Stonebwoy, including claims about the musician’s leg. The comments triggered a heated exchange, with members of MadeInGhana’s team demanding that he withdraw the allegations.
Carter Efe, however, maintained that he was only repeating what the content creator had allegedly told him.
