The founder and leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta has called on Africa to take advantage of the COVID-19 disease to change the destiny of the continent.

Speaking on ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ morning show on Angel FM 102.9 on Tuesday, the man of God said the disease has offered the continent the opportunity to lift itself out of poverty and become a first class continent.

This, he said can be achieved through the provision of a cure for the disease.

“Corona [virus] is our Goliath, it is terrifying us the same way Goliath terrified the Israelites and we ought to look for a solution to it and this solution will make us rich…,” he said.

He further added that the continent could become the toast of the world if a cure for the virus that is tormenting the world emerges from here.

He, therefore, charged the youth of the continent to go out there and look out for a cure for the disease so that they will become rich.

Apostle Amoako-Atta added that the continent has no cause to be poor because “your background cannot determine your end.”

“If you find solution to a local problem, you get local money and if you find solution to international problem, you find international money…,” he told show host, Captain Smart.

He also entreated the indigenes of Africa to invest in their minds if they seek to be rich.

“The difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich have big libraries and the poor have big TVs which they spend 24 hours watching and come up with no solution…their brains are full of Indian Soaps [television series] and nothing about the Word of God.”
