Renowned Ghanaian musician, Ernest Acheampong, also known as Nana Acheampong, praised R&B and afro-fusion singer, Gyakie for continuing his rich legacy in music.
According to him, he feels very proud as a father anytime he watches his daughter perform.
“I’m proud to see my daughter following in my footsteps as a musician and continuing the legacy,” he said on Y’adwuma Nie on Angel FM hosted by Ohemaa Woyeje.
Nana Acheampong while speaking about his music career which spans over 30 years said he has achieved almost all the goals he set for himself in the industry.
“I thank God that everything I prayed for as a child has come true exactly as I hoped,” Nana Acheampong stated.
Acheampong’s impressive achievement of releasing an album in each year of his career showcases his dedication and passion for music.
He also highlighted how the era of selling CDs helped many young people earn money and support themselves.
“People wrote letters to me sharing how the sales from my CDs changed their lives and helped them in difficult times,” Acheampong said.
