A fuel tanker carrying 54,000 litres of petrol has crashed into several used vehicles displayed at a garage for sale by the roadside at Ahodwo in Kumasi, near +2 Pub.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has dispatched a recovery truck to the scene to assist in towing the tanker to safety and facilitating recovery operations.
Cooling operations are currently underway to prevent any risk of fire or explosion, while efforts continue to recover the affected fuel tanker.
Fortunately, no casualties have been confirmed at this time.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
