The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the opening of the media accreditation process for the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League effective Monday, 15th September 2025.
According to the GFA, the deadline for accreditation applications is Thursday, 18th September 2025.
In statement, the GFA said the accreditation process begins today requires an official letter on the letterhead of the media outfit, assigning specific reporters to cover matches.
The association noted that each reporter is expected to attach a clearly labelled passport picture to their application letter.
“Each media outlet will be granted four accreditations, but only two reporters will be admitted to each match. Freelance journalists, bloggers, and photographers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.”
The GFA further indicated that accreditation will be valid for the Ghana Premier League, the Access Bank Division One League, and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for the 2025/26 season.
“All applicants will undergo a strict review process before accreditation is approved,” the GFA said.
Details are to be sent to the Communications Department via media@ghanafa.org before the deadline of Thursday, 18th September 2025.
