New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia, Mercy Adu-Gyamfi, known as Ama Sey has lost the party’s primaries.
Ama Sey lost by four votes to National Communications Officer of the party, Ernest Yaw Kumi.
Ama Sey polled 223 votes while Yaw Kumi polled 227 votes.
