President John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians of his government’s commitment to complete thirty (30) abandoned community day senior high school projects, popularly known as E-blocks, across the country.
Addressing dignitaries and community members as part of his “Resetting Ghana Tour” citizen engagement in Sunyani on Thursday, March 19, 2026, he highlighted that surveillance has been conducted to identify all the uncompleted projects initiated under his first tenure of office.
He added that “budgetary allocations have already been made to ensure its completion.”
President Mahama explained that the move is aimed at improving access to secondary education in every community.
“This initiative will enable wards in the communities to easily attend school and return home daily,” he said.
He further announced plans to construct new E-blocks in various regional capitals to extend the availability of day schools nationwide.
