The Jamaican government has commenced the recruitment of qualified Ghanaian medical and health professionals in an exercise being undertaken in collaboration with the Ghana government.
The recruitment exercise began on Monday, June 1, and would last until Friday, June 5, 2026.
It is targeting specialist nurses and physicians with the required qualifications and professional experience to serve in Jamaica’s healthcare system.
In a statement from the Ministry of Health, applications are to be submitted via the Ministry of Health’s recruitment portal https//hr.moh.gov.gh. within the stipulated period, with candidates expected to present all necessary documentation during the scheduled interview process.
“The Government of Jamaica, in partnership with the Government of Ghana, seeks to recruit qualified medical and nursing professionals interested in a challenging yet highly rewarding professional opportunity in Jamaica,” the statement announced.
