Veteran highlife musician, Ofori Amponsah, has announced a remix of his classic hit “Odo Nwom,” featuring award-winning artistes Stonebwoy and KiDi.
The singer shared the news on social media, revealing that the refreshed version of the beloved song is on the way. The collaboration brings together three generations of Ghanaian music, blending Ofori Amponsah’s signature highlife sound with Stonebwoy’s dancehall influence and KiDi’s contemporary Afrobeats style.
Originally released in 2004, ‘Odo Nwom’ became one of Ofori Amponsah’s biggest hits, earning widespread popularity across Ghana and beyond. The song remains a fan favourite and is widely regarded as one of the standout highlife records of its era.
Although the release date for the remix has not yet been announced, the announcement has already generated excitement among fans, many of whom are eager to hear how the classic record has been reimagined.
