Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) has assured the public that its annual free breast cancer and general health screening exercise will still come off as scheduled, despite the temporary interruption in broadcasting services on Angel TV and Angel 102.9FM, Accra.
Management says the network has fully resumed operations and preparations are underway for the much-anticipated health exercise.
The screening, being organised as part of activities to mark Pink October, is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, at the forecourt of Angel Haus at Akweteyman, Flattop, starting at exactly 8:00 a.m.
According to management, the annual initiative is aimed at encouraging members of the public to prioritise their health, with a particular focus on early detection of breast cancer and other health conditions.
Both men and women are invited to participate in the exercise, which will offer breast cancer screening as well as other general health screening services.
ABN is therefore encouraging individuals who have not yet undergone any form of health screening this year to take advantage of the opportunity to check their health status.
Management is also calling on hospitals, organisations and individuals to support the exercise through sponsorship to ensure its success.
The annual health screening forms part of ABN’s commitment to promoting public health awareness and supporting the wellbeing of its cherished audience and the general public.
