Twenty-seven (27) students of Abuakwa State College (Abusco) in the Eastern Region, have been isolated to sit for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to Angel FM’s correspondent, Francis Armah Frimpong, 19 of the affected students were said to have engaged in a brawl which got one injured in the eye.
The other seven were also said to have gone looking for food outside the school’s premises without permission.
These led to their dismissal from the school three days prior to the start of the exams, the reporter added.
Attempts by parents of the affected students to have the matter resolved with the school authorities have proved futile.
They are left with no option than to send their children home each day after writing a paper and bring them back to school on the day they have another till the end of the exams.
