Reports circulating on social media that Kennedy Agyapong has resigned from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been dismissed as false.
The viral reports, with the headline “Kennedy Agyapong resigns from NPP with immediate effect,” claimed that Kennedy Agyapong had shocked the party by submitting a resignation letter to National Chairman John Boadu.
But in a swift response, NPP Communication Team member and legal practitioner, Kwasi Kwarteng, has debunked the claims.
In a post on social media, Mr. Kwarteng clarified that Ken Ohene Agyapong is currently in China conducting business.
According to him, Mr. Agyapong has not submitted any letter of resignation from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to anyone.
He has therefore urged the public to disregard the reports.
