According to a post on the Finance Minister’s Facebook page, the payments are intended to support essential services that Ghanaians depend on daily.
“These five funds have received their third-quarter payments on time and in full, supporting schools, healthcare, roads and development in our communities.
“We are spending where it matters most, on the services Ghanaians depend on every day!” the post stated.
The minister further emphasised the importance of the payments, stating that “Behind every payment are people whose needs cannot wait.”
